Stéphanie Cuq was born in 1973. After studying viola in Montauban, she entered the Bordeaux Regional Conservatory where she obtained the gold medal (in 1995), then the City of Bordeaux Prize for Advanced Studies (1997) in Viola and Chamber Music.
After obtaining her State Diploma (in 1997), she was recruited by the city of Saintes in Charente Maritime to teach viola and orchestra at the Conservatory of Music and Dance.
She has been working regularly with the [organization/group] for about ten years.Aquitaine Symphony Orchestra, the Poliphonia Eliane Lavail ensemble (33), theGironde Chamber Orchestra, the Rocca-Fortis ensemble and other chamber music groups (sonata, trio, quartet).
