Anna Rebekka Ross was born in 1996 and lives in Copenhagen, Denmark. She holds a master's degree from the Royal Academy of Music in Aarhus, where she studied under Professor Henrik Brendstrup. She spent a semester in Sweden, studying at the Malmö Academy of Music with Samuli Örnströmer.
Anna is part of the Danish National Youth Orchestra and also teaches alongside her studies.
She fell in love with Yann Besson's cello for its clarity of sound and harmonic richness. The instrument is of exceptional quality, and she is delighted with her collaboration with its luthier.
